Noblehill House — printmaking
Noblehill House runs printmaking and linocut workshops where Hamburg makers want sharp tools, registration tricks, and editions numbered honestly Reach us at [email protected].
Process cards at Noblehill House list steps for printmaking visits in plain English before you commit to a date on noblehill.bond.
Since 2016 presses and barens are maintained on a log — ink mixes recorded so you can repeat a favourite teal.
Beginner classes carve soft lino and print by hand; intermediate covers two-colour registration.
Inks are water-washable unless a masterclass specifies oil — aprons provided, old shoes advised.
Edition limits are explained ethically — artist proofs marked, not sold as open runs without saying so.
Drying racks labelled by session date; pickup within two weeks or storage fee applies.
Evening ventilation runs full fans when solvent weeks are scheduled — calendar marks those dates.
We list tool safety before you book a carve night.
Our printmaking desk explains service timing before tools leave the shelf and favour fewer parallel jobs during busy weeks. Receipts are available on request Desk near Sternstraße 69.
Returning visitors can skip the full printmaking intake when notes are on file using honest lead times rather than same-day promises when the bench is full. Ask for the printmaking lead if the queue splits.
Optional printmaking upgrades are listed separately before you commit with clear tickets so handoffs stay consistent. Reference the printmaking page name if emailing a follow-up.
First-time guests often ask how service timing timing works for printmaking and are answered in plain English during Wed–Sat 11:00–19:00. No app-only queues for this bench.
Same-week service timing depend on the Hamburg board, not guesswork and we keep Germany holiday closures noted on the door card. We keep printmaking notes separate from unrelated service tracks.
